Dr. Craig McKenzie is an assistant professor of dental anesthesiology and the director of the Center for Patients with Special Needs at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. After
undergraduate at Virginia Tech, he was accepted to a dual degree program at the University of Pennsylvania completing both a DMD and MSEd. He recently graduated from a three-year anesthesiology residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During dental school, Dr. McKenzie was active in organized dentistry, especially in licensure reform efforts. He served as the 2019-2020 national president of the American Student Dental Association. He currently serves as a member of the ADA’s Council on Membership as well as the PDA’s Membership Committee and New Dentist Committee.
