Meet New Leadership in DSWP!

Dr. Alison King volunteered at the 2022 3Rivers Dental Conference and has been an instrumental committee member in the planning of CE speakers for the 2023 Conference. She is a member of the ADA, PDA, and DSWP. Dr. King is a DSWP representative of the PDA Leadership Academy, and will also represent PA as an Alternate Delegate at the 2023 ADA House of Delegates in Orlando, FL.

Dr. King is a resident of O’Hara Township and graduated from Fox Chapel High School in 2002. She received her undergraduate degree from Miami University and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 2014. She won the Gilbert N. Robin Continuing Education Award in recognition of dedication to continued professional excellence.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. King can often be found coaching soccer, playing at O’Hara Community Park with her two children, dog (Tater Tot), and husband (Patrick), attending the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and enjoying new Pittsburgh-area restaurants and sports.

Dr. Patrick Donnelly is happy to be a new DSWP Board Member.

Dr. Donnelly was born in Scranton, PA and grew up in Laflin, PA. He is a graduate of the University of Scranton with a Bachelor’s Degree in chemistry. He earned a PhD in chemistry from Princeton University and then worked in New York City at the Hospital for Special Surgery as an NIH T32 post-doctoral fellow. Later, Dr. Donnelly earned a DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Donnelly is in private practice in Greensburg, PA.
